Classic Rock enthused
"Batusis…proved to still be as loud and snotty as decades past…spotted in
the audience were former Blondie/Ramones drummer Clem Burke and Hanoi Rocks
bassist Sam Yaffa." PunkTurns30 calls them “living legends of rock ‘n’
roll” and Buzzbin Magazine adds "they could most assuredly teach today’s
alternative bands a thing or two.”
Batusis have been interviewed by Alice Cooper and great video interviews
are posted on ShockHound and New York Rocks. They will enter the studio later this year to record a
full-length album of all new material.
The four tracks on
Batusis are: 1. "Big Cat Stomp," 2. "What You Lack In
Brains," 3. "Bury You Alive," 4. "Blues’ Theme."
Produced in Nashville, by Ken Coomer, the former drummer for Wilco, the EP
features Enzo Penizzotto (bass) and Thommy Price (drums) - the driving rhythm
section for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
