Master Grower Shane Budd notes “we are very happy that the OLCC and the State of Oregon have decided to standardize and improve the stringency of the product testing in our state.”
May 11, 2012 (Eugene, OR) — On Friday, May 12th the Cannassentials team (Shane, Will and Myron) will attend Cultivation Classic, the world’s only cannabis competition and event exclusively for pesticide-free product grown in Oregon.
“We are so proud to be part of this event that highlights living soil grown cannabis, devoid of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides,” enthuses Cannassentials CFO Myron Chadowitz. He explains “We have entered two strains (Guava Chem and Bubblegum) in the competition and will have a booth in the event hall, talking about our processes and selling a large variety of high quality merchandise, hand selected for its sustainability and/or organic content. This is a unique opportunity to talk directly to our master growers and meet the rest of the Cannassentials team.”
Cultivation Classic is produced by Willamette Week with Farma, Cascadia Labs, Phylos Bioscience and Resource Innovation Institute. Cultivation Classic states “this event is a gathering of community as we pursue the best cannabis flowers, producers and methods in Oregon. In addition to a unique, inspiring speaker line-up, this year features an unprecedented level of scientific collaboration on the back end, including groundbreaking carbon accounting for our competing producers. An awards ceremony, with guest presenter Congressman Earl Blumenauer, will reveal winning cultivars in nine categories and their placement on the Phylos Galaxy.”
Cannassentials is fully dedicated to the ideals of clean growing and has joined over twenty other Industry professionals in signing a letter address to Governor Kate Brown, Oregon Legislature, Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Liquor Control Commission.
