Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. During May, the National Alliance on Mental Illness joins the national movement to raise awareness about mental health. Each year NAMI works to fight stigma, provide support, educate the public and advocate for policies that support people with mental illness and their families. For 2021’s Mental Health Awareness Month, NAMI will continue to amplify the message of “You Are Not Alone.”
A Trauma Survivor Thriver's Podcast echos that message by sharing the inspirational stories of survivors who have come out on the other side. Everyone deserves to live their best lives and it starts with self-love and compassion.

Authentic Insider Magazine (AIM) is helping you #AIMforMentalWellness. For 30 Days, we are asking YOU, "What do you do to aim for Mental Wellness."
May's issue provides great reads from the point of view (POV) of Gen-Zers and how they deal with mental health in the age of Covid and social unrest. We will also have a great piece from our sexual assault prosecutors about navigating the intracacies of Title IX on college campuses.

Everyday hundreds of Americans are affected by Sexual Violence.
RAINN, the Rape Assault Incest National Network is an organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence every day of the year.
Ebonique Bethea, who serves as the Clinical Director at RAINN joins ATSTP to share how we can better support survivors and teach our children how to stay safe.
Also, for my birthday, I have created a fundraiser to support RAINN and their efforts to educate the public about Sexual Assault. Click here to donate.
