Today we have an interview clip for you from our Winding Stream interview with Carlene Carter. Carlene is June Carter’s daughter, Maybelle Carter’s granddaughter and a fabulous musician in her own right. (Carlene is currently recording an album of Carter songs with heavyweight producer Don Was.) Growing up in a supremely successful musical family, it’s easy to lose sight of your legacy. Here, Carlene talks about the moment she realized just how cool her grandmother was.
