Greetings, On Saturday, 5/21 from 8 AM until 2 PM a huge indoor yard sale will be held at the Summit County Fairgrounds in Talmadge. We need volunteers to man a table there in 2 hour shifts to collect signatures for the Healthcare Freedom Amendment. Can you commit a couple of hours to preserve our liberty? If you can, please contact Janie Groh ASAP at either mjanegroh@aol.com or 330-725-2708. This week the constitutionality of the Healthcare bill will be challenged again, this time before a federal Appeals court all three of whose justices were appointed by either Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. We do not anticipate a favorable ruling from this court even though the last two federal courts have ruled Obamacare unconstitutional. |

Even if the court does rule that Obamacare is unconstitutional, the Obama administration has disregarded other court rulings that it is unconstitutional, and responded with contempt to the Attorneys General of a majority of our state governments, as well as to the will of the people. The Healthcare bill will eventually go before the US Supreme Court. But all indications are that the Obama administration will continue to spend the money, build the bureaucracy, and enforce Obamacare upon us, even as it grants exemptions from Obamacare to businesses and unions that the government favors.
The Healthcare Freedom Amendment is the one thing that we can put on the ballot and pass, in order to protect not just the "favored few", but all Ohioans. It is the most important action we can take between now and June 30 to preserve our liberty, and maintain our control over our own lives. We absolutely, positively have to put a couple of volunteers at a table outside one Bureau of Motor Vehicles office in Stark County and two Bureau of Motor Vehicles offices in Summit County. This is a very easy way of collecting a large number of signatures on a consistent basis. There is no "selling" involved; just let people know what you are doing and they will ask to sign the petition. We also need at least one person in each county to act as a coordinator, to schedule coverage by the other volunteers. If you are willing to commit a couple of hours to this effort contact Janie Groh today at mjanegroh@aol.com or 330-725-2708. If you are willing to help coordinate the schedule for other volunteers, contact me at jimwoods@mcfan.org, or call us at 330-952-0021, or meet with us at our Liberty Headquarters at 4986 Gateway Drive, #206, Medina, OH this coming Thursday evening, May 12 at 7 PM.
In God We Trust,
Jim & Lisa Woods |
