Dakar Jeep, NEWLY UPDATED.
We decided to turn our 99 Jeep Cherokee into a Dakar Tribute vehicle complete with BRAID rally-Raid wheels and big lights. You can keep an eye on progress here |
EG33 Swap. RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
If you didn't know we a re putting an EG33 engine from a SVX into our Outback race car. The EG33 is a six cylinder engine instead of the four cylinder that came out and should give us a substantail boost in power and torque. You can follow the build here. |
TIM Survives Black River Stages
Despite a scare on day one when the Eagle Talon of Dmittriy Martinove appeared to blow up on Stage 3 the team managed to complete day 2 without a hitch. What seemed to be a blown engine turned out to be a only a loose oil cooler sandwich plate so with a turn of a (big) wrench the crew were back in action.
