Sept 2nd is the date Bolen's only son John (Damani's granddad) was BORN to Mariah Reddick, Damani's great-grandmother - 140 years ago
- When John, a "Buffalo Soldier" Sharpshooter returned from the Spanish-American War (Philippines), he didn't take no stuff! (See Chapter 40 - Scores to Settle)

Sept 2nd is the date Damani (an only son) was BORN to Mariah's granddaughter Thelma Reddick Keene - 75 years ago

Sept 2nd is the date Ife and Damani arrived for freshman year at Howard University & met 2 days later - 58 years ago
- Been loving on each other ever since!! YAY!!!
