Wed Nights @ the Well
Indeed, the Spirit of The Lord was in the place during Hopewell's first Wednesday Night Bible Study of 2011 (5 Jan). Adhering to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Cole and the Education Department took Hopewell "Back To The Future" with the unveiling of the new (yet old) Wednesday Night format. From now until the Holy Spirit redirects us, Wednesday Night will include a mid-week message coordinated by Minister Lettie King and delivered by one of our dynamic associate ministers.
Minister Alex Dryer, under the utterance of the Holy Spirit, truly blessed the souls of all who attended with his inspiring message, "Your Best Life is Now", Numbers 18:11-13. The Theme of his message was "leave all the afflictions of 2010 in 2010 and live the best of your life for GOD right now. By doing this, GOD will reward you with the ripeness of His abundant blessings---A truly powerful manifestation of GOD's Word to His people. Our Spiritually gifted Pastor/Preacher/Teacher, then taught us the definition of prayer and the purpose of prayer. Prayer is communication with GOD in any format....verbal, written, psalms, etc. Consequently, Pastor Cole taught, the purpose of prayer is to communicate with GOD.
Pastor Cole will continue to teach a series on the who, what, where, why, and how of prayer. The standard has been set, the gift of knowledge offered, and challenges extended. We challenge and invite our Hopewell family to come out each Wednesday Night and feast on GOD's spoken and preached Word. YOU WILL BE BLESSED!!!! Oh yeah, give your friends and neighbors a New Years gift by inviting them out to share with you. They'll thank you later. Happy New Year and GOD BLESS. |
Shout Out!
"We Agree"
Greetings HMBC family thanking God for this another year to experience His amazing grace. The leadership of HMBC again wishes you and your famililes all the best for 2011. God used pastor Cole in a mighty way on the first Sunday at the worship experience to deliver an anointed word to the body. "A Breakthrough Praise" II Chronicles 5:13-14 encouraging us as believers and lovers of the Lord to keep an attitude of Praise toward our Lord."We Agree" as he reminded us Breakthrough Praise (1) Secures God's Presence "We Agree" Breakthrough Praise " (2) Secures the Victory "We Agree" Breakthrough Praise (3) Secures an Unburdening "We Agree" moving forward into 2011 our prayer is that we hold on to this word and strive to "Put On The Garment Of Praise"
"We Agree".
