TO OUR COLLEAGUES:
Have you ever wanted to give a TED Talk? This is
your chance! The
2018 ADR Institute will feature a series of
ED Talks (very similar to
TED Talks)
on themes related to ADR.
ED Talks are brief (up to 15-minute) presentations, often accompanied by PowerPoint
slides. They can be about:
- Powerful experiences in ADR settings
- Lessons learned from a case or client
- Provocative ideas about ADR
- An influential book about ADR
- Inspirational people in ADR
- Why you became a mediator
- A life-changing event or turning point
- And more!
Auditions will be held Monday, August 13
and Wednesday, August 29 at the
Minnesota CLE Conference Center,
located on the third floor of City Center (600 Nicollet Mall) in downtown
Minneapolis.

lmckinnon@minncle.org to schedule your audition time. You can
also record your ED Talk and e-mail it to
lmckinnon@minncle.org for consideration (save your video to cloud
storage or a video-sharing service and send a link,
instead of the actual recording, since most e-mail services limit the size of
attachments). Everyone who auditions or submits a video will receive a
$25 Starbucks gift card.
Several speakers will be chosen to deliver their ED Talks at the 2018 ADR
Institute on Friday, October 26 in Minneapolis. They will also receive free
admission to the Institute. Please forward this invitation to anyone who
you think would give a great ED Talk!
