66.5% of in-situ value on Strange Lake deposit comes from the Critical Rare Earth Elements (CREEs). (NI 43-101 Resource at 0.95% TREO cut-off; 230Mt @ 1.0% TREO including 51Mt indicated at 1.16% TREO).
25 year conceptual open-pit mine design (an additional 9yrs thereafter) which will target the spine of the pegmatite zone and surrounding mineralized granite. PEA indicates production of 13,000 tpa REEs.
Several pegmatite structures outcrop on surface and are typically high grade REE’s.
Pilot plant construction will commence next year over a 6 month period.

Asia Shares Get Lift From Not-So-Bad Japan Data
SYDNEY—Asian stock markets ended higher Monday, with investors welcoming the release of better-than-expected Japanese economic data and watching for coming talks to tackle Europe's debt troubles. Data out Monday showed Japan's gross domestic product in the April-June quarter was down 0.3% from the quarter before—down 1.3% on an annualized basis—much less of a fall than expected. Japan's Nikkei Stock Average closed up 1.4%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index jumped 3.3% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index ended the day with a 2.6% gain. The Shanghai Composite Index finished 1.3% higher and Taiwan's Taiex climbed 2.4%. South Korea's and India's markets were closed for Liberation Day and Independence Day, respectively.

(Reuters) - Oil rose on Monday after data from the United States and Japan helped ease worries over a looming recession, encouraging investors back into riskier assets. Stock markets .FTEU3 rallied and safe-haven assets such as gold, the dollar .DXY and the Swiss franc fell after last's week's wild swings. North Sea Brent crude oil futures for September rose 42 cents to $108.45 by 4:34 a.m. EDT, after falling to $107.93 earlier. U.S. crude was up 20 cents at $85.58 a barrel.

Molycorp Announces Major Rare Earth Supply Agreement with Hitachi Metals
Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP) announced that it has reached an agreement with Hitachi Metals to supply the company with rare earth magnetic materials, including Didymium (a mix of neodymium and praseodymium) metal and alloy, as well as Lanthanum Oxide. The three-year deal, which extends and expands upon an existing supply relationship between the companies, significantly increases the amount of rare earth materials that Molycorp will provide Hitachi Metals. The volume begins at a level comparable to the companies' current agreement and grows substantially when Molycorp reaches its Phase 1 production level in 2012 at its flagship rare earth production facility at Mountain Pass, California.

Greenland Minerals and Energy LTD ("GGG" or "the Company") today announced that it has moved to 100% ownership of the Kvanefjeld rare earths and multi element project in Southern Greenland. The Kvanefjeld project contains 6.6M tones of rare earth oxide (REO), 350Mlbs U3O8, and 1B Lb's Zn, Kvanefjeld is already recognized as one of the largest deposits of its kind located on the Southern tip of Greenland adjacent to deep water fjords that connect year round to the North Atlantic.
