The aesthetics of Sen no Rikyū never strive for extravagance but instead explore the essence of ultimate simplicity and profundity. With a single morning glory, he transforms the fleeting and impermanent nature of life into an eternal dialogue.
In the coming-soon exhibition, the artist Ziqi Yu delicately reinterprets Sen no Rikyū's aesthetic wisdom through the language of contemporary ink art, allowing "impermanence" and "eternity" to intertwine between the canvas, the space, and the soul.
