Fab New Stuff...
Hello Friends! Join us this weekend for our fall show and sale! Getting a head start on your holiday, birthday and other gift shopping (including yourself :)) is always a good thing!
Fabulous new additions to our inventory: a rare Al Nez gold and high-grade Mediterranean coral necklace and earring set in a "lightning bolt" design, a gold, turquoise and lapis cuff bracelet (also Al Nez) and a coral and sterling pendant by Vernon Haskie. Among our other treasures are contemporary pieces from our newest Navajo artists, Mark Roanhorse Crawford and Alethia Lynn Crawford. These young jewelers are taking the art world by storm and we expect to see many great things from them! You may notice that some of their pieces resemble Ric Charlie's style. This is no concidence as Mark apprenticed with this great master silversmith. We acquired a stunning coral inlay necklace and earring set from Zuni artists Raylan and Patty Edaakie, pendants from Duran Gaspar (Myron Panteah's cousin), detailed inlay works from Ruddell and Nancy Laconsello and Harlan Coonsis round out some of the stellar Zuni pieces. Also, just in this month, is a spectacular
Mud Head pendant by award-winning Hopi artist Gerald Lomaventema, hung on a hand-made chain (by his wife Yvette Talaswaima). These are but a sampling of the thousands of items we're bringing your way, so be sure to stop by this weekend and find that perfect gift from this amazing inventory. As always, we have Items to fit any budget, from insanely affordable (great for gifts!) to not-to-miss collector items!
Carvings, Pottery, Rugs and More
We picked up a large selection of smaller sandpaintings (think unique gifts!), all of which are completely handmade, matted and framed by Navajo artists, and a great rug selection from our trips to Teec Nos Pos, Shiprock and Farmington.
We have an excellent selection of handmade American Indian pottery including pieces from many of the Puebloan groups (NM) as well as a very nice variety of Navajo etched pottery.
We have brand new carvings from multi-award winning artists Raymond Chee, Laurence Dallas and other great artists.
See you there!
