Join us as we kick off our holiday show series!
Hello and Happy Holidays Pennsylvania!
We're on our way to your beautiful state for our holiday sale event. This series starts with an impressively large inventory thanks to our numerous buying trips throughout the summer and fall. There were just too many great deals and beautiufl items to say no! Look for exciting new pieces such as a beautiful spiny oyster shell and lapis necklace and earring set as well as a couple of new style pendants by Alton Bedonie - all of which we helped design. One of these pendant styles he will be making exclusively for us, so you won't find it anywhere else. He also made some very nice rings and bracelets with high grade Kingman turquoise. The artists of Stone Weaver in Gallup New Mexico continue to come up with innovative designs, including their latest offering of necklaces made with burnished and diamond cut sterling silver beads for a very modern look. These pieces are so on-trend and go with today's modern fashions as well as western wear. We have an extensive selection of sterling silver jewelry with man-made opal and a few pieces with spider opal (also man-made) with a look very similar to fine Australian black opal), as well as a stunning 14kt gold and deep red coral pendant from Vernon Haskie. If you are looking for sterling silver chains, we have a good supply of Italian made chains, plus a few of Bruce Hodgins' all-hand-made chains, which are always in high demand. Earrings are another area we bulked up on and have well over 300 new pairs from which to choose. In the modern art department we have stunning short necklaces from Mary Tom as well as her famous and popular Sleeping Beauty turquoise flower pendants. Among our other treasures are very unique pieces including and older Zuni five-strand turquoise fetish necklace, a mother of pearl pin/pendant by Lee and Mary Weebothee, and a very old collection of Navajo-made sterling silver spoons and tie bars dating from ca 1910 to the 1930s. Tamara has been busy cutting fire agate and has come up with some great stones. Alton Bedonie, Mary Tom and Brian Clark have all made jewelry featuring these stones and she continues to work on more as her busy schedule allows. These are but a sampling of the thousands of items we're bringing your way, so be sure to stop by this weekend and find that perfect gift for yourself or others from this amazing inventory. As always, we have Items to fit any budget, from insanely affordable (great for gifts!) to not-to-miss collector items! |

Carvings, Pottery, Rugs and More
We have a large selection of medium and smaller sandpaintings (think unique gifts!), all of which are completely handmade, matted and framed by Navajo artists, and a great rug selection including two incredibly finely woven, high-quality miniature Navajo rugs, both of which measure 5"x7". Something new and fun that we rarely have is a miniature Navajo rug on loom. This delighful work of art shows how the rugs are made and makes a great educational piece as well as being decorative. Other fabulous miniature works of art include horsehair baskets, sterling silver pots and pans, and clay pottery. There are plenty of sandpainting boxes and Zuni fetishes, which make great gift items. Notable fetishes include a water serpent & pueblo turquoise carving by Florentino Martinez and two of Lloyd Tsalabutie much- sought-after abalone rainbow trout.
RARE PAINTINGS!
***We recently came across two rare original paintings by very collectible artists: a Harrison Begay which we had beautifully re-framed & matted, as well as a Benson Hallwood painting of Canyon DeChelly's White House ruin.***
We have an excellent selection of handmade American Indian pottery including pieces from many of the Puebloan groups (NM) as well as a very nice variety of Navajo etched pottery and varies color horsehair pots.
We have brand new kachina carvings from multi-award winning artists Raymond Chee, Laurence Dallas and other great artists as well. All in all, there will be something in everyone's gift price range.
See you there!
