Hello!
This week's e-bulletin has information on a number of ways you can support the PTSA and ultimately SBHS. We really need volunteers for several PTSA Board positions, and donations for the After Prom event. Other ways to help the PTSA include participating in fundraising opportunities available such as the new MSN Offers for SchooI which has a great deal this week at Taffy's Pizza, hosting an international student associated with EF International Language School, and using e-scrip!
Other news include the PTSA Honorary Service Awards, announcement of SBHS National Merit Program finalists, SBHS students participating in the Teen Star Competition, a Career Fair on Friday, and finally reminders about the NHS/CSF Membership Drive taking place this week, SBCC Scholarships and the Media$500 Contest sponsored by SafeLaunch.
Lastly, a PTSA website is in the works...we'll let you know when it is up and running!

MSN Offers for Schools
MSN Offers for Schools' debut fundraising deal for SBHS PTSA is here....and the first deal is at Taffy’s Pizza! The deal is available through Sunday, March 4th at midnight and can be purchased at our MSN for School site, www.msnoffersforschools.com/ca/sbhigh. Taffy’s is really excited to support SBHS so let’s make the most of this opportunity and support them in return!
And just in case you need a personal testament regarding MSN Offers for Schools...here is what one parent/member of the Santa Barbara Education Foundation (SBEF) says about her experience:
“SBEF is really excited about the launch of MSN Offers for Schools here in Santa Barbara...The customer service from MSN has been top notch and our representative has gone the extra mile to help us to prepare for the launch. This program gives local businesses a new win-win opportunity to support multiple local schools and introduce local families to their services by offering deals. As a parent myself, I know how beneficial it is to have a variety of ways parents can support their school whether it be making a direct donation, attending an event or making a purchase that has a fundraising component.”
