Usher In The Kingdom of God - On Earth As It Is In Heaven
Hope for the World Comes Only Through Jesus Christ !
Greetings! ,
The picture above is from the country of Haiti, which was devastated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in January 2010, leaving 1.5 million people homeless and killing over 230,000 people. The slow recovery process is still underway 3 years later. The verse painted on a broken wall is perhaps the most well known verse from the Bible - John 3:16.
'For God' --- we start with the truth that God exists. He is creator of all life - in heaven and on earth.
'So Loved' --- we see the ultimate example of love in what God did through Jesus.
'The World' --- He came to the world that He had made and the world overall did not accept Him.
'That He Gave' --- to ungrateful, selfish people going their own rebellious ways. God is gracious and compassionate.
'His Only Begotten Son' --- the most precious thing He could possibly give - He sent Him to earth to suffer for our sin.
'That Whoever Believes in Him' --- His Gift of love is to anyone who will trust in Him alone.
'Shall Not Perish' --- instead of heaven -- eternal punishment awaits those without Jesus, because of their sin.
'But Have Eternal Life' --- the free gift of God for those who repent and trust in His Son who died in our place.
John 3:16 -- Words of Hope for the whole World that desperately needs a Savior and forgiveness.
But how will people know unless someone tells them?
How can a person be rescued from judgment unless we show them the path of life?
Do not let anyone deceive you-- No one comes to God except through a personal relationship with Jesus.
If we are trying to please men --- we will be silent, so no one thinks we are odd or some sort of radical.
If we are trying to please God and not men --- we will not be ashamed of Him and the valuable gift of life He offers them.
Jesus said that if we are ashamed of Him in this wicked and perverse generation,
that He will be ashamed of us when He returns with God's holy angels.
'Father -- fill us with your Holy Spirit. Give us courage to speak boldly as we should. Give us the love to care about people and the words to testify to your greatness, your power, your dominion and authority over all of your creation. Help us to warn of the judgment that is coming on all the earth and your wrath that will be poured out on all who love wickedness, rebellion, and have pushed you out of their hearts and minds. May you open their eyes and hearts to see and understand the priceless gift you offer of complete forgiveness, a new power to overcome sin and to live abundant fulfilling life with you for eternity --- all in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.'
Do you believe God's Word? I know you do. So let's join together in prayer and planning to reach our neighbors and the lost around the world before the Lord closes Heaven's gate and there is no more opportunity.

Bearing Fruit For Eternal Life
The Lord talks a lot about God's plan for His followers to 'bear fruit'. (John 15)
The natural result of a life connected to and nourished by the 'vine' Jesus Christ -- is fruit. What does that mean?
'For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.' (Galatians 5:22-23)
One aspect of fruit bearing is exhibiting the character of Christ in our daily lives, which can only be done as we allow the Spirit of God to fill our hearts and minds. The mind set on the Spirit is life. The mind set on the flesh is death.
Fruit bearing is also doing the 'good works' that God has prepared for each of His children to do. These do not save us but are testimonies to the presence of God in our lives and a blessing to His creation. We have been blessed to be a blessing. (Ephesians 2:10)
Another aspect of fruit bearing is replicating ourselves. As we plant the seeds of the Gospel in the ears of those who don't know the Lord -- His Spirit works in the hearts and minds of those who hear and some will respond by faith and grow to be fruit bearers themselves. This is the normal process that the Lord wants to see in every believers life.
God prunes those he loves so that they will bear more fruit. Like a good gardener, He know exactly what to allow into our lives to make us strong and fruitful people.
Today - let me encourage you to draw near to the Lord, let your mind be filled with the Word of God, singing spiritual songs to the Lord, praying for divine appointments to minister to others, confessing any sin and accepting the forgiveness He has provided to all. It's not a one time thing -- it's a daily act of laying our lives at His feet as living sacrifices to honor the One who died for us.
What an honor to have the Spirit of the Living God live inside us and available to bear fruit through us! Let's not quench the Spirit or grieve the Spirit by living for temporary, fleeting things.

Prayer Requests
* Pray for wisdom regarding future Usher In ministry in Kenya, South Sudan and the Congo.
* For Pastor Ivan, his family and new congregation at Kihihi Community Church in Uganda. Pray for continued growth both spiritually and in new people coming to know the Lord each week. Pray for ongoing provision of finances needed when the first year of funding to launch the Church expires in September.
* For Pastor Elisha of Rukungiri Community Church. Pray for his radio teaching program broadcast in Southwest Uganda and into the Congo. Also pray for his ministry discipling future pastors and the church planting ministry. Pastor Elisha has requested prayer for the development of a Bible training institute and a Primary school in Rukungiri. Pray for God's confirmation of the vision, finances for building rent, textbooks and other supplies.
* For Pastor James Okori and his wife Esther in Lira Uganda. Pray for the prison ministry, Africa Hope Bible Institute where he serves as secretary, and for the small church he pastors.
* Pray for Apollo and Jackie Nyangkori as they have their first child and Apollo continues to serve as a missionary to South Sudan. Pray for safety, health and provision for this difficult but essential ministry to the poor and suffering in the world's newest country. Hear his ministry report on the Usher In website video link.
* Pray for hundreds of orphan children being cared for by Pastor Praveen and his family in Kakinada India. Also pray for the many Pastor's of remote village churches that face persecution by radical Hindu followers. Pray for strength, wisdom, protection and funding.
* Pray for Pastor Jonathan Kabanda as he shepherds the people at Budo Bible Community Church in Uganda. Pray that they will have steady growth and can disciple the new believers. Also pray for planning for the children's festival and youth outreach planned for this September with the U.S. team.
* Pray for Roshan, his new wife Tiffany and his mother Irene who oversee Happy Home for the Handicapped in Shimoga, India. Roshan is here in the U.S. and was married on June 24th. He and his wife will return to India mid-July. Pray for their new relationship together serving Jesus.
* Pray for the Lord to provide the ongoing financial needs of this ministry and wisdom to know what opportunities to pursue and which ones need to wait.
* For God to call the people He wants on the teams for future Usher In India and Uganda missions.
* For the thousands who have responded to the Gospel in the past few years through outreaches in Budo, Kihihi, Lira, Soroti, Gulu, Kampala, Arua Uganda -- as well as Juba, South Sudan, Lamu and Kimana Kenya. Pray for their spiritual growth, protection, provision and that they in turn will lead many family and friends to know Jesus Christ.

Uganda Mission
September 14th - 30th
Randy and Usher In will be partnering with Jose Zayas Evangelism International (JZEI) leading a team to northwest Uganda in just 2 months from now.
We will be ministering in hospitals, prison, many schools, remote villages and in the evenings holding a major festival that is expected to attract about thousands of people each night to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Please pray for the team members making preparations for this significant work of God in their lives.
We are praying that we would be ready for all that the Lord wants to do in and through our team and in the lives of our Ugandan brothers and sisters in Christ.
