- Karl Mehta is Founder & CEO of PlaySpan Inc., acquired in March 2011 by Visa Inc. (NYSE:V), the world's largest payment network. PlaySpan is a global leader in payments and monetization platform for digital media, mobile apps, social networks and online games.
- Mr. Mehta is Silicon Valley based serial entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in founding, building and funding technology companies in the U.S. and international markets.
- Mr. Mehta won the 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2010' Award from Ernst & Young for Northern California and is a Charter member of TiE-Silicon Valley and an active angel investor in clean-tech and internet sector worldwide.
- He is board member of Ecosystem Ventures LLC, Source Ventures LLC and Simpa Networks Inc.
