Catherine Cook-Cottone, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist, Registered Yoga Teacher, Professor at the University at Buffalo (SUNY), and Co-Editor in Chief of Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention. She is also the founder and president of Yogis in Service, Inc. a not-for-profit organization that creates access to yoga and delivers trauma-informed yoga teacher trainings. She is a consultant for the Africa Yoga Project and the United Nations Foundation creating and researching a trauma-informed yoga curriculum delivered in Kenya, Somalia, and Rwanda as well as mindfulness-based resilience training for humanitarian workers delivered in North America, Middle East, Eastern Asia, and Africa.
Catherine has written eight books and over 75 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. Her recent books include,

Louise Goldberg, MA, ERYT 500, C-IAYT, LMT, is owner of Relaxation Now LLC and founder of Creative Relaxation®. She is the author of two books:
Classroom Yoga Breaks: Brief Exercises to Create Calm, published by Norton Books in Education in 2017 and
Yoga Therapy for Children with Autism and Special Needs, published by Norton Professional Books in 2013. She is a co-author of
S.T.O.P. and Relax, Your Special Needs Yoga Toolbox ©2006, updated 2014. Her DVD
Creative Relaxation
Yoga for Children ©2004 features children on the autism spectrum. She was published by the International Journal of Yoga Therapists in 2004.
Louise is the owner/director of the Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach, Florida. She is the philosophy and anatomy instructor for the 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training at the Yoga Center and director of the Children's Yoga Teacher Training. She teaches yoga to children and adults, and trains professionals to implement yoga in classrooms and therapeutic settings. A consultant with the Broward Schools for over 30 years, she taught yoga at the Dan Marino Center day camp from 2001 - 2018.
She has been a presenter at the National Kids Yoga Conference in Washington, DC, Kripalu's Yoga in Schools Symposium in Lenox, MA, at the Autism Society of America conferences in Florida and Arizona, Weekend with the Expert in Broward, the Learning and the Brain Conference in San Francisco (2012) and NYC (2018), and SYTAR Boston (2013) and Newport Beach (2019) for the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She leads retreats and teacher trainings internationally.
Louise holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and an M.A. from the University of Connecticut. She has been an English teacher at the middle, high school and college levels, and a remedial reading specialist. She is a licensed massage therapist who specializes in cranio-sacral therapy. She became a certified yoga teacher through the Sivananda organization in 1981. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist and an approved continuing educational provider with International Association of Yoga Therapists.
