We are ecstatic to announce that we are the latest Artist in Residency at the Brooklyn Children's Museum. Our 10 week residency is led by our Cru members: Atiba, Jozi and Suhaly, and we will be collaborating with the Brooklyn Children's Museum's Teens Program to teach them the art of collage.

The teens will learn about Henri Matisse, Romare Bearden, Pablo Picasso, Stanley Whitney, Mickalene Thomas, Faith Ringold, Hannah Hoch, Nick Cave and Wangechi Mutu and other artists. Additionally, we will increase their understanding on how color, shapes, texture and patterns all play a role in art.

The teens will spend these weeks learning about and creating collages. All of which will be featured in our end of residency show. Stay tuned for the details.
