Eat Your Garbage!
Usually, eating things you find in the garbage is not a good idea. But there are some NYC-based food startups challenging this notion, through up-cycling (or "unwasting") industrial-scale food garbage. Learn all about it in
this week's feature.
Then,
get your worm on in the latest installment of our hit series, Greenpoint Eco-schools Journal. Will Fran get her Pre-K Students to sit still? Will the worms survive? Don't miss this week's exciting new episode.
Then, the kids are alright! Join them at a UN summit this evening, where they will present new ideas and inventions to combat climate change. It's just one of our many
events afoot this week. Check it ou!
Finally: How do you like your smoothies? Free? Well, then -- you'd best avail yourselves of
our weekly quiz!
And don't forget to follow us on

Instagram, and

Welcome to the end of our email, where, like
Austin Rogers dandying his way into your grandmother's TV Room, we offer you the chance to win a prize!
There was no winner last week, as nobody got the correct answer!
All you have to do be a winner is answer me this question (which, if you've read this email, should be a snap):
- What is the name of the tea brewed from the fruit of the coffee berry?
Send your answer to
jamie@townsquareinc.com, along with your name and anything else you want us to know about you. Our winner will be selected at random, and published here, next week.
