10th Annual Go Green! BK Festival

We can hardly wait! On Saturday, June 3rd, Go Green! Brooklyn Festival will take over McCarren Park for a FREE celebration of the North Brooklyn community and local environmental programs. Get inspired by sustainability initiatives while sampling local food, art and music, and enjoying a beautiful day in the park.
This year's highlights include:
- Live music and theater performances
- Live action art projects in connection with Greenpoint Open Studios
- Bocce, chess & other fun activities
- Greencycle Swap
- Repair Cafe and DIY upcycling stations
- Solar pavilion and charging stations by Brooklyn SolarWorks
- A pop-up lounge on the lawn by Home Depot
- Free Fitness Workshops curated by Breakin Boundaries

This year,
Go Green! BK Festival is excited to serve as an open air venue for
Greenpoint Open Studios (GOS).
Local artists will not only display their work, they will also engage in live art projects at McCarren Park. It's a festival after all!
Greenpoint Open Studios is a grassroots organization that aims to provide a free and open platform for local arts that builds, sustains, and supports the thriving creative community in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Artists and designers open up their studios to the public to showcase work in a wide range of mediums. From paintings, sculptures, film, photography, weaving/textiles, ceramics, and more, there are seasoned artists to be visited and emerging artists to be discovered in the northernmost tip of Brooklyn.
