Spring is almost here and the annual McGolrick Egg Hunt is around the corner! As with last year, we'll have thousands and thousands of eggs. The hunts will run as long as eggs last.
Families and kids will also get to meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy craft activities, face painting and music. The McGolrick Egg Hunt is a delightful community effort with parents pitching in to hide the eggs and run the hunts. MS 126 Leo's and parents, Resurrection Williamsburg, and St. John's Lutheran Church are among the community groups lending a hand.
This year, we're also planning a Spring Parade at 2 PM. So bring your most colorful bonnets or make one at the park. It will be a wonderful day to welcome Spring!
$10 child for the egg hunt, with certain other activities at extra cost. Avoid long lines and buy your egg hunt tickets here: https://events.benchmarkemail.com/event/EggHunt2015. Proceeds will help send promising MS 126 science students to a NASA space camp in Istanbul, Turkey this summer! Cool, right?

In 2005, the City of New York promised the neighborhoods of Greenpoint and Williamsburg a 28-acre park along North Brooklyn’s waterfront: Bushwick Inlet Park. Almost a decade later, tens of thousands of new residents have moved in, but very little of Bushwick Inlet Park has materialized. Join your neighbors and other community groups to rally for our park this Thursday!
To get the park that we were promised, we need to send the City a message before it's too late:
* WE WANT THIS PARK!
* WE NEED THIS PARK!
* YOU PROMISED THIS PARK!
For more information and to join the cause: www.bushwickinletpark.org
Please join in! LET'S RALLY TOGETHER TO SAVE OUR PARK!
