Town Square's SummerSTARZ free family movie nights are back! 6 wonderful Friday nights are planned for Transmitter Park on the gorgeous Greenpoint waterfront! Bring a picnic blanket, friends & family. Come early to snag a spot on the lawn, and have an awesome time!

WHO? Students who have completed their junior year of high school age 16-17.
Trees New York’s Young Urban Forester Summer Internship runs for 7 weeks, 175 hour urban forestry internship. Over 7 weeks, interns are immersed in environmental education, hands-on tree maintenance, field trips and seminars with professionals. The comprehensive curriculum includes urban forest conservation, restoration and planning, air and water quality, invasive species, GIS and map making, soil science and tree care, biology, tree identification and pruning. The majority of the activities our outdoors. Interns must be prepared and willing to work outdoors for up to 8 hours a day. For more info: http://treesny.org/
