This Friday, July 29th, for PIXELS (PG-13).  When aliens intercept video feeds of classic arcade games and misinterpret them as a declaration of war, they attack Earth, using the games as models. Knowing that he must employ a similar strategy, President Will Cooper recruits his childhood pal, former video-game champ to lead a team of old-school arcade players to save the planet.

For those of us who don't avidly follow chess happenings, the IS 318 took 3rd place in the National Middle School Chess Championships 2016 in Indianapolis and 2nd place in the National Girls Chess Championships 2016 in Chicago.  PS 31 also won team trophies: 22nd and 17th in the u900 and u800, respectively. So very proud!
