Go Green Brooklyn HUB: a new Town Square initiative
Go Green! Festival 2016 also celebrates the launch of Town Square’s newest initiative,
Go Green Brooklyn Hub,* a new online destination for local environmental news, events and opportunities. Its mission is to increase participation in environmental programs and make our communities better places to live. Please share
GoGreenbk.org with everyone you know who lives in Greenpoint and Williamsburg and be sure to have them sign up for local eco news here.
By sharing interesting content — local heroes’ stories, events and concrete ways for citizens to get involved in North Brooklyn’s myriad of green organizations — Go Green Brooklyn will support green advocates, galvanize all residents and bring neighbors together to benefit the community.
Sign up for our
Go Green BK Hub newsletter here. If you sign up before the end of this coming Friday, you’ll be entered in our raffle for the chance to win $100 to Brooklyn Kitchen and $25 to Dusty Rose! You can join our
Hub Facebook community group page and follow the Hub on
Twitter and
Instagram.
* This project is made possible with funding provided by the Office of the New York State Attorney General and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation through the Greenpoint Community Environmental Fund.
