The 7th annual Schoolfest is a one-of-a-kind school fair for North Brooklyn students and parents. Private schools, public schools, charter schools, early childhood centers and extracurricular activity providers are all coming to a single venue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
WHAT MAKES SCHOOLFEST SO VALUABLE?
- Schoolfest offers a supportive networking and informational experience for both exhibitors and parents.
- Schoolfest allows our neighborhood schools to share new information and projects with each other so that our entire district may benefit.
- Most importantly, Schoolfest understands that parents can often be overwhelmed by school choices and admission processes. Schoolfest helps parents navigate through the confusion so that you can make the best choice for your child’s educational needs.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Over 60 schools and organizations are exhibiting.
- Over 700 students, parents, teachers, and professionals attend annually.
- Schoolfest offers informative workshops by highly-regarded educational specialists such as New York School Help’s Joyce Szuflita who this year will speak on Middle Schools & High Schools applications, and the new (and bewildering) Kindergarten admission process.
- K-Sign Up Room: If you haven't yet submitted your online Kindergarten application, no worries! Schoolfest plans to equip a room with laptops with helpful elementary school parent coordinators for your application process.
- Schoolfest offers a unique chance to reach parents and administrators.
Admission to SCHOOLFEST is FREE!
To apply to be an exhibitor, please complete the online application form: http://tinyurl.com/Schoolfest-2014-application.
We gratefully thank our sponsors and supporters, with special shout outs to US Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, NYS Senator Daniel Squadron, NYS Assemblymember Joe Lentol, NYC CM Steve Levin, NYC CM Antonio Reynoso ExxonMobil, NY Kids Club and MS 126. |
