MEN’S, WOMEN’S & CHILDREN’S CLOTHING, SHOES, BOOKS, TOYS, BICYCLES, PHONES, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS & ELECTRONICS. Cleaned, gently used and working items please.
It's not necessary to bring anything to browse the selection. However, out of consideration for others, we may limit folks to the greater of 1 bag or the number of bags that you have brought to donate to the swap. All remaining items will be donated to local churches, Goodwill, and Vietnam Vets of America.
$5 suggested donation to help cover costs. Town Square is a qualified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit institution. Your donation will be TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the full extent of the law. Town Square's 7th annual Schoolfest is a one-of-a-kind school fair for North Brooklyn students and parents. All private schools, public schools, charter schools, early childhood centers, and extracurricular providers are invited to a single venue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Schoolfest offers a supportive networking and informational experience for both exhibitors and parents. So far, we have over 50 exhibitors:
* 8 day care centers including just-opened NY Kids Club in Williamsburg,
* 12 public elementary schools,
* 6 public middle schools,
* 3 public high schools,
* 6 private schools,
* West Point and their exciting STEM program,
* and many more!
We have exciting guest speakers including District 14 Superintendent Alicja Winnicki, who will speak on a a district-wide initiative: Discovering and Strengthening Our Common Bonds: How “Everybody Cooks Rice” brings the District 14 community together.
Joyce Szuflita of NY School Help will present her highly popular workshops, "Intro to Public Schools, PK & K, Navigating Middle School Choices, and Navigating High School Choices. Other workshops include "College Savings & Finances."
