Town Square Thanks You for a Great Weekend!
Schoolfest and Halloween were so much fun! Up Next: Santa Brunch
Wow! What a whirlwind weekend!! With our annual Schoolfest on Saturday and Halloween Parade, Spooktacular Party and Zombie Nerf War on Sunday, we have been overwhelmed with good things. Both events were a smashing success! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Town Square's entire purpose is to serve the North Brooklyn community, and we could not have pulled off these events without you.
Schoolfest attendees and exhibitors: we hope that the day was as fun and fruitful for you as it was for us. Whether you connected with parents or other educational organizations, please let us know what you liked and what we can do to make this even better next year. We are especially grateful to John Ericsson Middle School 126 and Principal Maria Ortega for graciously hosting Schoolfest. Also, a special thank you to our sponsors, workshop presenter and supporters: Broadway Stages, ExxonMobil, Greenpoint Landing, New York School Help, St. Nick's Alliance, NYS AM Joseph Lentol, NYC CM Stephen Levin, NYC CM Antonio Reynoso, NYC DOE D14 Superintendent Alicja Winnicki, NYC DOE D14 CEC and NYC DYCD. We love you!
Halloween attendees: we had so much fun with the annual Greenpoint Children's Halloween Parade, Spooktacular Party and Zombie Nerf War! Our memories will last our whole lives. We thank our partner, the Polish Slavic Center, for generously donating their marvelous hall, as they have done for the past 12 years! Thank you to the police jazz band for leading the parade and our NYPD 94th Precinct for keeping parade marchers safe! And Songs for Seeds Williamsburg absolutely rocked as our in-house band! Thank you so much.
