L Train Workshops
The MTA is conducting public workshops in affected communities and invite your participation. Last summer, the MTA announced the decision to close the L tunnel for 18 months beginning in 2019 so that they can address as quickly and efficiently as possible, the critical work needed in the tunnel’s two tubes. This decision was reached after a robust public outreach process with the community. Superstorm Sandy flooded the tunnel with seven million gallons of salt water, heavily damaging vital infrastructure...

Waterfront Defenders Party
Diamond Bar is hosting an evening to feature local waterway stewardship organizations. 2017 Water Resources Art & Poetry Contest
New York City Department of Environmental Protection’s 31st annual Water Resources Art & Poetry Contest. Second through twelfth grade students attending public, independent, charter or parochial schools (or homeschooled) in New York City and East and West of Hudson Watersheds are invited to create original art and compose poetry that reflects an appreciation for our shared water resources.

Participatory Budgeting 2017!
