1. Individuals who wish to be a Key Executive Officer of an estate agent must take the compulsory Real Estate Agency (REA) preparatory course before sitting for the mandatory REA Examination administered by CEA.
2. If you are aspiring to be a key executive officer (KEO) of a real estate agency, passing the REA Exam is of the registration criteria.
3. The Certificate of REA Course Completion has a validity period of 2 years for the purpose of determining eligibility to take the RES/REA examination.
4. Candidates are eligible to take the REA examination within 2 years from the completion date of their REA Course.
5. Beyond the validity period, candidates will be required to attend and complete the REA course again before they become eligible to take the REA examination.
Self-sponsored applicants can apply for UTAP funding of up to $250. (Cap at 50% of unfunded course fees)
