Keeping the tradition alive
As December gets shorter it's time to make your holiday seafood dining plans! Our last day to ship lobsters before Christmas is Thursday December 21st. New Year's Eve cutoff day is the 28th. All shipping is at YOUR risk; we cannot cover losses due to weather or other shipping mishaps. If you are picking up here you can reserve your order from the 17th on; two days notice is the minimum safe bet to get what you want. We will be open 9-1 on the 24th and STRONGLY urge you to call about 15 minutes before your arrival to pick up as it may be very busy here.
We have had quite a few Christmas trees cut already but there are a few left in the back lot. If you are still looking for a tree please come by 4 PM as it gets dark soon after that and falling in the dark isn't festive.
We will close for the winter in early January when the lobsters are all "adopted" and the pump is unplugged. The clam digging has been good in some areas so if you need a fork, basket, pail or rubber gloves over the winter just call 603-926-3910 and if we're around we can fix you up!
Congratulations to Barry Postera; he was the winner of our Labor Day prize drawing! Tell us the secret word when you buy lobsters and you might win the next drawing on Christmas Eve! Today's "secret word" is "Chet's Nuts Roasting".
