New OOTP 18 Update Released!
|
|
|
We’ve also released our latest OOTP 18 update, version 18.6.61, which features updated MLB Opening Day roster sets, including improvements to the 2017 draft class and minor league player ratings. We’ve also added a widget to manage the bullpen in-game, improved 3D animations, including diving and leaping plays, 1944 Negro League data and many more improvements and fixes.

Rebuilding the San Diego Padres in OOTP 18

Long-time followers of the
OOTP Twitch stream know that T.J. Lauerman, our Baseball Community Manager, has been conducting annual rebuilding projects. Last year, it was the Atlanta Braves, and this year,
our Twitter followers chose the San Diego Padres. We chatted with Lauerman about his efforts, which have covered the 2017 and 2018 seasons so far and included the controversial trade of first baseman Wil Myers.
Myers was “the number one thing that I felt needed to be addressed,” Lauerman told us. Read
our latest blog post to find out why the 2017 season was “a kick to the stomach” and 2018 proved to be a “shock.”
