A MESSAGE FROM PAUL
1978-2013 - CELEBRATING MY 35TH YEAR as a professional artist. In a nutshell: I began painting and drawing at age 4. By the time I was finishing high school, I started publishing prints of my paintings and traveled the country to promote them at show appearances. Through the years I have nurtured a loyal family of many individuals who collect my prints and originals and have also established longtime relationships with numerous art galleries (many have carried my works from the very beginning.) In 1981, the first Paul McGehee Gallery opened in Arlington, Virginia and now enjoys continued success since moving to Old Town Alexandria, Virginia in 1995. In addition, Old Town Gallery has become a fixture of the DC contemporary arts scene with the opening of Artspace 109 on the top level. Looking back on my career, I have many fond memories...1978 seems like such a long time ago. Now I find myself in 2013 looking forward to the next 35 years. THANK YOU, EVERYONE!
At present I am putting the finishing touches on my latest painting "Alexandria - The Waterfront by Moonlight." It is an exciting new piece which I think you will like (followers of my Official "Paul McGehee Art" Facebook page have already seen a couple sneak previews!) Watch for updates in future e-mails regarding this and other new works...coming soon!
Now, please take a few minutes to enjoy these images from my ever-growing collection. My art prints could be the finishing touch that you've been seeking for the walls of your home and your office. Remember, Paul McGehee Art can be shipped anywhere by UPS, FedEx and USPS.
