New Product Development assumes lot of significance and has become very much essential for sustaining business growth of industries. However often many costly mistakes and time delay happen in new development of Products / Parts as well as processes. APQP mitigates such risks by following a systematic approach right from the beginning. All OEMs now mandate use of APQP as this system helps in development of product / process faster, well in time and within budget.
Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organizing a two day programme on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Control Plan on 13 - 14 October 2015 at Bangalore. This programme will help in achieving "First Time Right" development of parts resulting in saving time and cost as well as enhanced customer satisfaction.

Faculty |
This programme will be conducted by Mr. Ved Parkash, an industry expert with over 37 years of domain expertise in automotive industries. He is former Head - Quality & TQM at Ashokleyland and Head - Quality at Hero Honda Motors. He has had extensive training from Japan in Quality function at Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and Honda Motors Ltd. He has been CFT lead member for Quality in developing many successful products of fame in the country e.g. Canter, Vespa 150 NV, Splendor, Street , Passion ,CBZ, Glamour , DOST to name a few. He has equally extensive experience in developing components as well. He was Associate Vice President at Hi Tech gears heading Engg and Business Development. He developed new products for reputed overseas customers like Robert Bosch, Cummins , GM, Volvo , JCB , Getrag , Ford using APQP methodology. He is also credited with setting up a greenfield Gear Manufacturing plant for Hi Tech Gears at Manesar.
He is a Mechanical Engineer and has been associated with well-known organizations in the country manufacturing 2 wheeler & 4 wheelers viz. Escorts , Eicher, LML, Hero Honda & Ashokleyland.

REGISTRATION : Prior registration for participation is necessary. Number of participants is limited and will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis. A Certificate of participation will be issued to participants.

Important Information :
Participation fee includes, course material, working lunch and tea / coffee. Interested companies are requested to register online by clicking on 'REGISTER' button and by filling up the nomination authority and participant's details in specified form.
FEE : The stipulated fee can be paid online by clicking on 'Register and Pay online" button and using the secured HDFC payment gateway. Upon successful registration and payment, a separate registration and payment confirmation will be sent to the nominating authority mail id confirming the registration and OR payment details. Alternatively, a Demand Draft or at par cheque in favour of 'Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association' payable at Bangalore can be sent to the programme coordinator at the address mentioned in the brochure.
