2019 Paper Piecing Classes with Carol Stanek

Hello Paper Piecers!

Have I got hot news for you! This coming August I become a Gem Affiliate (in addition to being a Quiltworx Certified Instructor). You are probably asking “what is a Gem Affiliate?” This is the designation of an authorized instructor who has been personally trained by MJ Kinman, Textile Artist, authorized to teach her freezer paper piecing techniques which create the beautiful gem quilts she designed. I will be teaching this Birthstone Series at my next retreat in October.

2019 FALL QUILT RETREAT at Grand Oak Retreat in Alabama

Fall Retreat Dates: Thursday, October 24^th to Sunday, October 27^th

Fall Retreat $100 deposit deadline is July 26^th … so IF you want to attend please email me ASAP so I can add your name to the list (limit is 14). You can send your deposit check in July.

I will be teaching the Birthstone Series (pictured above) so let me know if you would like to be a part of the retreat class learning the freezer paper piecing techniques and what month you want to create. Pattern and Fabric Kits will be available at an additional fee (Pattern $14.40 and Fabric Kits Months range from $9.60 - $20.80).

Anyone wanting to spend the weekend working on a Judy quilt is always welcome! I will be there to help you with anything you need.

DINNER PLATE DAHLIA TECHNIQUE OF THE MONTH

Quiltworx.com designed its 5th “Technique of the Month” pattern. The Dinner Plate Dahlia quilt brings together a wide-range of techniques for Foundation Paper Piecing, leaving students with the ability to move onto many other Quiltworx patterns once they have completed this design. This class is limited to 8 students and runs over 7 months.
