Maria Ogedengbe has exhibited her artwork in Nigeria, Mexico, New York, Biloxi and Spokane. Locally her work has been presented at Art in The Loop, outdoor sculpture exhibits in Olathe, and on the Mobank billboards. Her art is distinguished by applying a painter’s sensibility to cross-disciplinary projects that often make use of textiles and reflect an interest in African art and culture. Maria received an MFA from Yale. She is seeking a larger studio space and publicity for a community arts and gardening project Missouri GOURDen.

Monica Dixon’s work is influenced by living and working in Europe, India, Brooklyn, and the Midwest. Through collages, sculptures, installations, and physical movement, her work explores accessing memories, emotions, and beliefs by activating the spaces that hold them. She was a Charlotte Street Foundation Resident, a recipient of an Art in the Loop Commission, and is currently creating a public installation at the Winthrop-Rockefeller Institute in Morrilton, Arkansas. Monica is a graduate of KCAI. She is looking for gallery representation in the US and internationally, plus ways to create public art internationally.
