Samhain, midpoint between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice, marks the end of the harvest season. The Irish word, "Samhain," means the month of November, and October 31 to November 1 was traditionally considered the Celtic New Year's Eve, the third and final harvest festival. In the days leading to the first day of Winter, which is the shortest day and longest night of the year, The Celtic Society presents a host of intimate uplifting concerts that will bring us all together in joyous harmony.
