I have only 5 spots remaining!
We’ll be enjoying and savoring our experiences in Glacier National Park from September 9 - 15, 2018 – I hope you’ll be there with us.
With more than 700 miles of hiking trails, Glacier is one of the finest parks for viewing scenery and wildlife and is therefore one of the most rewarding to hike! Some of its many treasures include numerous cascading waterfalls, ancient glaciers, abundant wildlife, and unspoiled primitive beauty. As we ramble along the mountain trails, you’ll be inspired by the serene beauty of this outstanding park.
September is a very special time to visit Glacier National Park! Generally, the park is a lot quieter, wildlife is more active, and the trees are beginning to turn colors. Fall is an exceptional time to watch for wildlife, because all animals, especially bears, are busily preparing for the long winter ahead, making them easier to view.
This trip is filling quickly, so please contact me if you would like to join us

Glacier National Park - A Hiker's Paradise – September 9 – 15, 2018

Aptly named the “Crown of the Continent,” Glacier National Park spans the Continental Divide and is considered America’s premier wilderness park. Its scenic beauty and showcase of nature at its finest is unmatched anywhere in the continental United States. Yes, grandeur at its best! The only road to bisect the park, Going-to-the-Sun Road, is in itself one of the most dramatic drives you may ever experience.
We will enjoy an incredible week of hiking and naturalist interpretation. While traversing the backcountry trails, we can experience the five undisturbed life zones of this region, along with the rich variety of flora and fauna associated with these zones. Descending from the arctic ice and snow along the Great Divide, we will pass through alpine tundra, primeval coniferous forest, deciduous forest, and finally to grassland.
Our accommodations are inside Glacier National Park, providing us with easy access to trails and beautiful surroundings throughout our stay. Each day will bring us new experiences in this magnificent park as we hike along park trails investigating whatever crosses our path and catches our interest. We’ll be on the lookout for wildlife, and I promise there will be no lack of spectacular scenery to view throughout the week. How fortunate for us (hikers) that more than 98% of park visitors are content to view this impressive wilderness from their vehicles.
