Have You Seen These Videos?

These videos are changing people's minds about abortion!

Education: Some people may tend to think about abortion as some kind of magic wand that makes a pregnancy “disappear.” But the reality is that there is a child, and various procedures are used to kill that child while in the womb. Many people who had been pro-choice have become pro-life when

they see and understand what abortion actually does. In 2016, Live Action partnered with a former abortionist to produce videos describing, with the use of diagrams, various abortion methods. The picture shown to the left is taken from the video describing second trimester Dilation and Evacuation (D & E) abortion, also referred to as a dismemberment abortion. See www.abortionprocedures.com for all the videos. A video describing the pill abortion is also included in the set, along with aspiration (or suction) abortion, the most common procedure, used in the first trimester, and induction abortion, used in the third trimester (after 24 weeks). Other videos available have interviews with Dr. Levatino, including one in which he describes why abortion is never necessary to save the life of the mother.

Live Action has shown these videos to people on the street, and several who first described themselves as pro-choice immediately changed their mind after watching the video. Of 208 “pro-choice” women who watched the video online, 34% said afterwards that they viewed abortion “less favorably”. (1) The videos have been viewed over 42 million times, but there are still many people who have not seen them. Have you seen them?

Prayer: Dear Jesus, please help Americans to be willing to look at the truth of what abortion really is. Help these videos to allow many pro-choice people to understand what abortion actually does as it destroys a child. Help parents to be wise in telling their children about abortion, and even showing them the reality, just as we educate our children about the Holocaust and war. We pray for mothers tempted by abortion to realize the truth of the humanity of their child and to find the courage, support and grace they need to choose life.

Action: Go to www.AbortionProcedures.com to watch the videos. Share them on Facebook and other social media. Tell your family members and friends about them. Ask your pro-choice friends if they have ever actually seen what abortion looks like, and be prepared to show them on your phone or tablet. You can also go to the Priests for Life web site (2) to look at pictures of both children in the womb and the disturbing aftermath of abortion.
