Education: In 2015 we were horrified to learn of Planned Parenthood’s callous marketing of fetal body parts, and haggling over prices. (1) The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has purchased fetal tissue for research purposes. (2) But is it even necessary to use fetal tissue from aborted babies in order to carry out important research? A Congressional subcommittee recently held hearings on this topic. Two of the three expert witnesses agreed that fetal tissue from aborted babies was not necessary for scientific research. Tara Sander Lee, Ph. D. from the Charlotte Lozier Institute, |

Prayer: Dear Father God, please open the eyes of researchers working with fetal tissues. Help them to realize the humanity of the children from which those tissues were taken. Help them to understand that even a noble goal of advancing medical knowledge to cure disease does not justify encouraging abortion by purchasing such tissues and allowing abortionists to realize more profit from their terrible work. Help researchers be willing to transition their research to ethical sources of tissue to reach the goals of their study, or other ways to advance medicine without use of any means which treats preborn children as mere objects or sources of tissue. |

Action: Personhood Alliance has started a Citizen Go petition to ask Secretary Alex Azar, Dept. of Health and Human Services to stop the purchase of aborted baby body parts and to apply all legal safeguards to protect children-in-utero whose bodies are being trafficked. Please consider signing the petition
here. It may also be helpful to contact your Congressional representatives and express your concern. Ask them to do whatever they can to stop the trafficking of fetal body parts, and to defund Planned Parenthood, which has been under investigation for years.
