Sinister 7 Volunteer Update
Thank you for agreeing to volunteer for the Sinister 7. The racers depend on our helpful and enthusiastic team!
Please check the link: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvVtbKbEYQi6cmJfa0s5NzdfLW1Bd0NMRVVGZzdkc3c&hl=en_US to find your volunteer assignment. Check the whole spreadsheet - your name may be in more than one place.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact Dave and Deb Whitten at 403 562 8224 or whittendd@shaw.ca.
On the race weekend, please check in at the Albert Stella arena in Blairmore before proceeding out to your assigned spot on the course. Ask for Dave or Deb Whittten when you arrive, and we will make sure you have all the equipment you will need for your shift. Be sure to check in early enough so that you have ample time to get out to your assigned spot. Thanks again for your interest in the race. Together we will make it a memorable event for the racers and volunteers.

Camping and RVs at the Race Site
Out-of-towners are are able to tent for free right on the grounds of the host site. There are no fires allowed and you cannot drive your vehicle to the camping area so you will need to schlep your gear about 500m. Spots are on available on a first come, first served basis but it is a large area and should not be an issue.
RVs are welcome to park along the train tracks (it's not as bad as it sounds and people camp here all the time) in the large green space just one block north of the host site. Again, no fires are allowed. You can also camp at TA4/6, which is a big, open area with lots of space for RVs but no facilities.
Both arrangements are detailed in the Racer Information Package so download it and take a look. http://www.sinister7.com/files/Sinister%207%20Racer%20Package%202011.pdf
There are showers in the arena but not enough for 1000 people! Other showers are also available for free at the Crowsnest Pass Pool, just a few blocks away - just tell them you are with us. Note that this does not give you entry into the pool and you are only able to use the showers without paying.

More Volunteers Needed
We still need a lot more people to make the Sinister 7 run like a well oiled machine so if you know of anyone, please send them our way!
