Peace, Be Still!
Embracing God's Peace |
|
|
“Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.” (2 Thessalonians 3:16) |
|
|
Jesus referred to as the “Prince of Peace” in Isaiah 9:6, brings peace in all aspects of life—spiritual, relational, and eternal. At His Second Coming, He will establish a kingdom of peace and justice on earth. When you feel uneasy, pray until you receive a word from God to restore your peace. “Pray until Shiloh comes,” meaning persevere in prayer until the Significant One, Jesus Christ, intervenes for you. Genesis 49:10 prophesies the coming of “Shiloh,” interpreted as the Messiah, from the lineage of Judah. This verse points us to Jesus Christ, the Ultimate Ruler and bringer of peace.
Peace has many facets: Jesus calls His followers to be peacemakers, as stated in Matthew 5:9. Paul lists peace as a fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22, emphasizing its importance in Christian living. Discover your true identity by living in peace. Fulfill your destiny by becoming a person of peace. Experience the fullness of life by pursuing peace with God and others. Peace begins with a clean conscience and grows as we walk with God, as mentioned in Hebrews 10:22. Our sins are forgiven through Jesus, allowing us to have peace with God, as stated in Romans 5:1. This foundation of peace enables us to know God’s love and share it with others.
Similarly, when we make the Lord our refuge, we begin to live in His peace. Psalm 91:1-2 reminds us that dwelling in the secret place of the Most High allows us to rest under His protection. This secret place in our hearts is where we meet with God and find rest. We can remain peaceful even in challenging circumstances by staying in constant communion with Him.
Moreover, Jesus promises us peace in John 14:27, a peace unlike what the world offers. Philippians 4:7 highlights the unique and incomprehensible nature of God’s peace, which provides profound inner calm and protection. Crying out to Him in times of trouble brings a peace that surpasses all human understanding. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 further assures us that the Lord of peace Himself will give us peace at all times and in every way.

Finding true peace can seem elusive in today’s world, where conflicts and uncertainties abound. However, one of the messages for this coming year is “Peace, Be Still.” The Lord promises us internal and external, everlasting peace as we keep our minds on Him, even amidst turmoil. This divine peace, rooted in trust in Jesus Christ, transcends all circumstances and provides a refuge amidst life’s storms.
The story of Jesus calming the storm in Mark 4:35–41 illustrates both inner and external peace. Jesus’ authority over nature demonstrates His divine power, affirming His identity as the Son of God. When He calms the storm, it symbolizes His ability to bring peace and calm in the midst of chaos and fear, both literally and metaphorically. This story reassures believers that Jesus can bring peace into our lives, even in the most turbulent and challenging times. It is a call to faith and trust in Him, reminding us that He is in control and can command peace in any situation.
Remember, the wind and the waves obey His command! Importantly, notice that He was not awakened by the storm but by the cry of His disciples for help. “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Yes, He cares if we are drowning. He is ready to save us from all of our troubles immediately. Today, call on the Lord to help you! Speak to your situation: "Peace, Be Still!" In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

HEARTWARMING OUTREACH: MINISTRY EXPANSION TO DELAWARE |
|
|
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
- Isaiah 43:19 |

In June of 2024, with great anticipation, our family and ministry expanded its reach to Delaware, aiming to foster a sense of community and support among families while growing the ministry. As Gail and I explored God’s will, we joined the initial group that started a weekly Bible study specifically tailored for discipleship and fellowship. These gatherings provide a welcoming space for families to connect, share their faith, and find spiritual nourishment in the Word. Through these sessions, our faith is strengthened, and we are building a network of mutual support, helping families navigate life’s journey with a sense of belonging and hope.
Our first session was an 8-week study on the Beatitudes. We wholeheartedly embraced humility, love, and compassion. It challenged us to live in a way that is worthy of our calling and to rely on the Lord to mold and shape us into His image. We thank God for ordering our footsteps as we collaborate with our new brothers and sisters in Christ.
It has always been my heart’s desire to see families grow together and deepen their commitment to the Lord and to each other. My heart in ministry is for the family, and I am especially looking forward to seeing the ministry grow in this aspect, with men leading and covering their families. As the Bible says in Psalm 133:1,
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
We are excited to offer a variety of Bible classes and seminars designed to deepen your faith and understanding of God’s Word.
Blessed to Find a New Church Home
We are also thrilled to share that our family has found a local church, a wonderful community where we worship the Lord and fellowship with believers from around the world. We are grateful for this new chapter in our lives and look forward to the many blessings and opportunities for growth that lie ahead.
We are deeply thankful for the many prayers lifted up to the Lord on our behalf. We feel truly grateful, humbled, and blessed.

EMBRACING PRAYER WALKS
Last June, we began a daily morning prayer walk in the community to pray for the nations. These prayer walks have offered numerous benefits, both spiritually and practically:
- Spiritual Awareness: Engaging in the prayer walk has heightened our sensitivity to the spiritual climate of the area, making us more aware of the needs and challenges faced by different communities.
- Intercession: Prayer walking provides a wonderful opportunity to intercede for people, situations, and our environment, inviting God’s presence, intervention, and blessings upon the nations.
- Community Transformation: As we walk and pray, we have witnessed transformation and expect revival in our community. We believe our prayer walk will ignite divine intervention, healing, salvation, and restoration.
- Personal Spiritual Growth: It has helped us connect with God on a deeper level and align our hearts and minds with His will.
- Unity and Fellowship: Our goal is to unite with other believers to foster a sense of unity and agreement in prayer.
- Physical Benefits: Walking combined with prayer has enhanced our overall well-being, providing both spiritual and physical benefits.
- Encouragement and Hope: Our prayer walks bring encouragement and hope to participants and the communities we pray for, demonstrating faith and trust in God’s power to bring about positive change.
By engaging in prayer walks, we are actively participating in God’s work, bringing His love and grace to the nations. What an honor and a privilege to walk, talk, and pray with the Lord.

The Third Watch Exhortation and Prayer Hour, from 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM, is known as “the hour that God hears” or the “witching hour.” It is a powerful time for spiritual warfare and seeking God’s intervention. As Psalm 35:1 (KJV) says,
“Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.”
The Third Watch is dedicated to engaging our hearts in prayer by strategically praying for nations, leaders, communities, and families. We pray for protection from evil, victory over our enemies, and strength to persevere. Psalm 91:4-5 (KJV) reminds us,
“He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day.” For over fourteen years, we have witnessed healing, restoration, the release of persecuted Christians, reconciliation, salvation of the unsaved, restoration of broken families, and financial recovery.
It is an honor and privilege to be called to pray. We invite you to join us on this vital and rewarding journey of praying through the nations!
The 15-minute Power of Prayer has been a transformative time, allowing us to carve out precious moments from our busy schedules to connect with God. Even amid our daily hustle, these brief but intentional prayer sessions have provided a spiritual recharge, helping us stay grounded and focused on our faith.
The Bible encourages us to pray consistently, as seen in Psalm 55:17:
“Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.” This verse reminds us that taking short, dedicated times to pray throughout the day is both powerful and effective. By committing to these 15-minute sessions, we not only strengthen our relationship with God but also build a habit of turning to Him regularly, ensuring that our spiritual lives remain vibrant and active.
