Kevin Jones, President, SignaPay
With more than 15 years in the payments industry, what makes Kevin Jones unique is not just his experience and accomplishments, but his commitment to being a certain kind of leader.
He defines it like this: “I am focused on empowering the members of SignaPay’s team, our partners and employees, to reach their career goals and provide best-in-class service to merchants. I know that the passion and commitment of our team members makes the difference, and will fuel SignaPay’s growth. It is my job to chart a strategic direction and remove any obstacles so that we, as a company, can fulfill our potential.”
Kevin’s leadership skills were first recognized by his high school football coach, who gave him the confidence and skill to work his way from the bench to a captain on the varsity team. After receiving his degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kevin began his career at Central Carolina Bank. He then spent seven years at Chase Paymentech Solutions where, as Senior Territory Manager, he built the Merchant Acquisition Team from the ground up.
Prior to joining SignaPay in 2011, Kevin served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for First American Payment Systems, where his team achieved unprecedented revenue growth, partner retention and consistent recruitment.
As President of SignaPay, Kevin Jones oversees all of the company’s internal departments, including sales, marketing, client relations, risk, credit, loss prevention and accounting, all with the goal of creating and maintaining symbiotic relationships with SignaPay's partners.
Despite his many achievements, Kevin remains most proud of those that speak to his inner qualities. “I believe that there is no substitute for honesty and hard work,” he says, “And I try to lose sight of my integrity.”
