Welcome to the Misfit Minute!
This week’s Misfit Entrepreneur is Cavan Klinsky.
This week’s Misfit Entrepreneur is Cavan Klinsky. Cavan is the co-founder of Healthie. Healthie is a practice and client management software for nutrition and wellness professionals. The platform gives providers the tools they need to succeed in coaching and care, allows them to build closer relationships with clients, and helps contribute to a society with better healthcare outcomes.
Here’s what I love about Cavan. He is a self-taught programmer who went to college, met his business partner, took action, and created a software and a company that now services thousands of health and wellness professionals in over 25 countries – and he’s still in college!
There’s a lot we can learn from this young entrepreneur who is wise beyond his years.

From the Misfit Blog, "The Life-Changing Power of a Checklist" |
|
|
The other day, I picked a book from my library that I hadn't read in a while and leafed through it. It was the Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande. I had forgotten how good this book was and how it's practical insight and useful is so powerful.
If you haven't read, you can probably guess what it is about. It is about the power of using checklists. Gawande goes through all sort of great examples from how checklists are essential flying planes and managing though crisis to how they have and still continue to revolutionize medicine and other industries.
It is amazing how something as simple a checklist can have such a huge impact. But, if you think about it, it makes a lot of sense - especially in today's incredible fast paced world.
We forget things. Or miss them. It is as simple as that and having a checklist that you can use to make sure you are doing everything you need to do serves as a great tool to succeed.

If you are an active person like me, you should be rewarded for it. As a husband, a father, and a business owner, I know how important it is to make sure you have the right life insurance in place to take care of your loved ones should something go wrong, but is too much to ask for the company selling me that insurance to take into account the fact that I love to run, swim, bike, hike, and just about anything else I can do to stay fit? – I don’t think so. And that is exactly what Health IQ does.
60% of Health IQ customers save up to 33% on their life insurance.
Even if you have a life insurance policy, it never hurts to shop. So, take a few minutes to see if you qualify, how much you can save and get your free quote today at
