R. Alleluia, alleluia.
I am the way, the truth, and the life, says the Lord;
Philip, whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Today's Mass tells us that the example of the Apostles is the most certain and direct path to heaven. They suffered and were persecuted, but they placed their confidence in God and now they rejoice in heaven. We too must have confidence in God and not be troubled in our adversities. In our Father's house there are many mansions, and if we follow the way indicated by Him, Christ will come at the end of our life and take us to Himself.

The Month of Mary
"The Rosary, though clearly Marian in character, is at heart a Christocentric prayer. In the sobriety of its elements, it has all the depth of the Gospel message in its entirety, of which it can be said to be a compendium. It is an echo of the prayer of Mary, her perennial Magnificat for the work of the redemptive Incarnation which began in her virginal womb. With the Rosary, the Christian people sits at the school of Mary and is led to contemplate the beauty on the face of Christ and to experience the depths of his love. Through the Rosary the faithful receive abundant grace, as though from the very hands of the Mother of the Redeemer."
—From On the Most Holy Rosary (Rosarium Virginis Mariae)

Prayer to St. Joseph after the Rosary
This prayer to Saint Joseph—spouse of the Virgin Mary, foster father of Jesus, and patron saint of the universal Church—was composed by Pope Leo XIII in his 1889 encyclical, Quamquam pluries. He asked that it be added to the end of the Rosary, especially during the month of October, which is dedicated to the Rosary. It may be said after the customary Salve Regina and concluding prayer, and may also be used to conclude other Marian devotions. |

Mary’s womb is known by the Church as the first tabernacle.
When the angel came to Mary she trusted God, and allowed herself to be used by God.
When Jesus was born, Mary gave him back to God. Mary nurtured Jesus as only a mother could, knowing that He would later fulfill His ministry on earth for the salvation of the world.
St. Joseph, Foster Father of Jesus, was submissive to Mary and obedient to God’s will. Joseph played an important roll in the life of Jesus in leading the Holy Family on their spiritual journey, and respecting Mary as a person and as a Woman.
Pray a Rosary today for your own Mother for bringing you into the world, as well as for your Wife (if married), and for all Women and their important roll in this world.
Thanks for Reading.
Make it a great week. See you back here again next Monday.
