Join Dr. Mark Weist for the new 2018-2019 Webinar Series hosted by the Southeastern School Behavioral Health Community (SSBHC)
and the Behavioral Alliance of South Carolina (BASC)
September 26, 2018 from 3:30-4:30 on The Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF)
Connecting education and mental health systems and staff in order to improve educational outcomes of K-12 students. By identifying ways Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) and School Mental Health (SMH) can work together, the ISF can both improve the quality of the individual systems and help eliminate gaps or missing elements of the two combined.
Mark D. Weist, Ph.D., is Professor of Clinical-Community and School Psychology at the University of South Carolina. With colleagues, for more than a decade he has been working to interconnect PBIS and school mental health, toward greater depth and quality of programs and services within the multi-tiered system of support in schools. |
