Treasury bond prices ticked lower following the minutes from the Federal Reserve's December policy meeting that showed the central bank would continue to wind down its bond buying barring significant economic-growth setback. Fed officials said in the minutes that the recent improvement in the economy supported their case to start dialing back its bond buying this month. The central bank cut its monthly purchases by $10 billion and suggested that the pace to further reduction hinges on the health of the economy.
The benchmark 10-year note's yield hit a fresh session high of 3.01% after the minutes, near the highest level since July
