Luka - A Very Special One!

Due to several recent requests we are pleased to be releasing another special edition. Meet Luka!

Luka, an Andean bear cub was born on January 3, 2013 at the Phoenix Zoo where she joined an international species-survival program. Andean bears are the smallest of bears and are rare in zoos and are losing habitat in their native forests in South America. Seldom are they born in captivity. Luka was a very special one!

I was privileged to paint Luka shortly after her arrival and host a fundraiser for the Phoenix Zoo. She is now enjoying her days at the Nashville Zoo.

Our plans are to print within the next 5-7 days! We will be limiting the edition size to just 50 stretched canvas editions and 5 artist proofs.
