WBAF Immediate Press Release
WBAF appoints 10 High Commissioners for 10 countries
WBAF Immediate Press Release - 28th of October 2017
WBAF appoints 10 High Commissioners
The entrepreneurial ecosystems of 10 more countries are now more connected with each other and the rest of the world, with the appointment of High Commissioners for Bangladesh, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Palestine, Singapore, Slovenia and Spain.
The World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) interacts with leaders in all areas of society — first and foremost in business and political spheres — to help assess needs and establish goals, bearing in mind that the public interest is of paramount importance. WBAF engages with a wide range of institutions — public and private, local and international, commercial and academic — to help shape the global agenda.
One way WBAF does this is through its Commissioners. Becoming a WBAF High Commissioner involves embracing activities that are designed to serve the global community and WBAF members. By combining regular, small contributions from many dynamic WBAF Commissioners around the world, everyone benefits from shared learning, better networks and increased exposure.
WBAF High Commissioners to receive official letters of appointment at WBAF 2018
Newly appointed WBAF High Commissioners will receive their official letter of appointment on 19 February 2018 at a ceremony at the annual gathering of the World Business Angels Investment Forum at the Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul. WBAF World Congress 2018 will be the world’s biggest gathering of early-stage equity markets to date.
WBAF inviting nominations and applications to represent WBAF
‘WBAF strives to ease access to finance for all entrepreneurs all over the world’, says Altuntas. ‘We are keen to collaborate with indivuals who can contribute to the development of the economy of their respective countries.’ WBAF is now accepting applications and nominations for WBAF High Commissioner positions in countries where WBAF is currently not represented.
