Journey Back to India
September Update
Dear RHM Friends,
Greetings once again in the Precious Name of our Lord JESUS.
The time has flown by while being in America! Spent precious time with family and friends, and getting recharged to get back into the battlefield in India. For only the 2nd time in 26 years, I actually WANTED to leave India, and wasn't real excited about going back (the 1st time when I had a health problem). The war of accusations, slander, relationships being destroyed, and the unfaithfulness of some people we're doing ministry with was wearing me down. It's been good to be able to rise above the battle ground for a while so I can get a different perspective on the situations and warfare of the enemy. When it gets down to the nitty gritty, it's ME who needs to change. I can pray for others, but can't change them. So we have a choice: either learn to receive His grace and help in the midst of the troubles (and learn to love even our enemies), or get swallowed up in the confusion.
PRAY that the Lord will keep me in the Mind and Heart of Christ no matter what hurt or attacks come against me and/or ministry. If we can understand the "bigger picture", that it's not at all about us, but about our Lord JESUS and His kingdom which Satan and his billions of demons are trying to render ineffective, then it helps a lot.
Ephesians 6:10-20
Sorry for the short update, but I'm on a bit of a race track to get things done before leaving the States next Tuesday, the 18th. Scroll down to see some of what's been happening recently within the ministries which RHM is connected with.
Bless you!! Always thankful for the Body of Christ, working together to be His Hands extended to hurting and needy people.

ABOVE: This is Brother Moses from Subba Reddy Colony, part of our Widows and Elderly ministry. He had a terrible looking growth on his face, and recently had some cosmetic surgery, taking skin from his thigh to put on his face. They never asked us for financial help for this, so it was apparently provided for via the government. Though the India govt. is incredibly corrupt, they are helping the elderly and poor in various ways.

ABOVE: Prasadamma, part of the HOPE Manna Program. The Lord provided through RHM (funds designated for the HMP) for her to have a large tarp placed on her roof, stopping the leaks. For grass/thatched huts, this seems to be a more effective way of prolonging the life of the roofs of these huts before the leaves and sticks eventually need to be replaced.

ABOVE: Some NTR Colony children after a Sunday School in August. Not for sure, but I believe most of these children are from Hindu families, as there's only a few believers in this tribal village at this time.

ABOVE: The church (sometimes referred to as a "prayer house") in the small village of Kondu Botlavaripalem. HOPE conducts a Sunday School in this village every couple of weeks, and there are some elderly who are receiving help via the Widows/Elderly ministry.

ABOVE: Nine women in the Widows and Elderly ministry from the village of Vaddepalem. Seven of them are widows. Pray for this ministry, as we have opportunity to help them with finances, medical aid, emergency or cataract surgeries, house repairs, and most importantly, trying to encourage them in their walk with GOD. Brother Wesley is helping us in this ministry to the poor elderly in this village, as well as the 5 villages in the photos below.

ABOVE: These 5 women are also from Jampalavaripalem, but there are 2 different churches in different parts of the village, the communities separated because of their caste. Four are widows; the shortest woman was abandoned by her husband years ago.

ABOVE: These 6 women are from the village of Chundi, a Hindu stronghold with a bad reputation for fighting and violence. All of them are widows. Praise GOD for His love upon the widows and elderly!!

ABOVE: Five elderly in the village of Anneboinapalli. Two are widows, two have husbands who can't work (one of them dying). The man has had 2 brain operations, which didn't produce the desired results, as he has difficulty walking or talking, and cannot work.

ABOVE: Looks like the Lord has provided some swing sets for those who can't afford them! Skinny little children from when we visited Brother Ajit's forest area of India in May.

ABOVE: As with the first photo of Brother Moses, it looks like HOPE's 8 year old Jeeva may also need some cosmetic surgery or something!
