Typically, Coordinators and Chairpersons meet with the president every quarter for a few hours, and normally follow the meeting with fishing on one of our area rivers.
TU is not only for people who fly-fish. TU is for members of the community who want to help improve the quality of our watersheds. TU is for people interested in proper ecology, conservation, and cleaining up our environment. TU is for bait-casters, trollers, spin casters, fly casters, any kind of fishermen and women. TU is for kids, because they'll learn where fish live, what fish eat, who eats fish. They'll learn about all the fish in the river! Don’t forget to bring a friend or a family to the meeting. Refreshments will be served, and we have a few more weeks of the special ½ price Single TU-membership at only $17.50. Also, you can now purchase a family membership for only $55. Kids 12 years & younger receive their own magazine; “Streamside”, in addition to the family receiving “Trout” magazine.
At the conclusion of the business part of the meeting, we'll be showing "Flycasting Faults and Fixes with Mel Krieger". Anyone who's viewed any casting instruction has probably heard of Mel, who has written several books, and has several videos out there. At the end of the video, Mel will teach us how to spey cast with a single-hand rod.
